i. Unless otherwise stated, goods purchased on this website will be delivered free where the order value is $100 or greater. All orders under $100 will incur a flat fee of $10.00 per order. All orders are delivered via the Australia Post tracked delivery system.
ii. Once we have confirmed our acceptance of your order, we will endeavour to dispatch your order within three business days unless a different timeframe is specified in relation to a particular good. If we are unable to dispatch your order within this time frame we will endeavour to contact you and advise you of the expected dispatch date.
iii. Upon dispatch of the goods from our distribution centre the purchaser will receive an email from Australia Post with the shipment details and a link to the Australia Post e-Parcel tracking system from where the purchaser can monitor the progress of the delivery.
iv. Where payment confirmation information received from Financial Intermediaries is insufficient to verify the payment details, Wallace Bishop Jewellers will contact the purchaser and discuss other payment options including shipping through Australia Post on a Cash On Delivery basis.
v. Although we will endeavour to meet delivery timeframes where possible, all delivery timeframes are estimates only and we will not be liable for any loss, expense, or other damage caused by any delay in delivery.
vi. We retain ownership and title of the goods we supply to you until we have received the full payment for the goods and the applicable delivery charges. Risk and title passes to you once your order has been delivered to you (or has otherwise been delivered in accordance with your delivery instructions), as evidenced by confirmation provided to us by Australia Post.
vii. On delivery you may be required to sign a proof of delivery document unless an Authority to Leave (‘ATL’) has been provided. If an ATL has not been provided and you are not available to take delivery, or there are circumstances preventing the goods being left at the delivery address, then the goods may be taken to a local depot or post office and a calling card containing the relevant contact details will be left at the delivery address in those cases.
viii. If you choose to provide an ATL, we will not be able to offer any further assistance if your order is lost or subsequently goes missing after it has been deemed delivered by the carrier. The associated risk in leaving goods unattended in these circumstances is borne by you.

may be returned within 7 days of the date of purchase to the original
store of purchase for exchange only for merchandise of an equivalent
value or a Wallace Bishop gift card of equivalent value.
c. Merchandise purchased via the Wallace Bishop website
may be returned within 30 days of the date of purchase for a full
refund, goods of equivalent value or a Wallace Bishop gift card of
equivalent value. The additional time provided for online purchases is
to allow for delivery delays.
d. Any merchandise returned must be in new and saleable
condition and accompanied by the original sales receipt and original
e. For security purposes, returns of merchandise
purchased via the website, must be registered online. It is necessary
to first complete and submit an online application form. This form is
accessed via your order reference page when you sign into your account.
f. Customised merchandise or merchandise purchased
through special orders will not be eligible for return. Refer to
conditions of sale provided at time of order.
g. Merchandise purchased on the Wallace Bishop online
store may be returned either to your nearest Wallace Bishop store or
posted via secure post to our Brisbane Head Office at 55 Doggett
Street, Newstead, Queensland, 4006. There is no value limit for returns
for items returned in this manner provided all of the conditions stated
in clause 6b,c,d,e,f are met.
h. Merchandise purchased on the Wallace Bishop online
store for $1000 or under and returned in saleable condition to a
Wallace Bishop store may be exchanged for an immediate full refund,
goods of equivalent value or a Wallace Bishop Gift Card of equivalent
i. Merchandise purchased on the Wallace Bishop online
store with a purchase price of over $1000 and returned to a Wallace
Bishop store will need to be forwarded to our Brisbane Head Office for
assessment before a full refund or a Wallace Bishop Gift Card of
equivalent value can be arranged.
j. For merchandise purchased on the Wallace Bishop
online store and returned to Head Office for a full refund or a Wallace
Bishop gift card of equivalent value. You should allow up to 3 weeks
from receipt of your goods at our Head Office before you receive your
full refund or the gift card to be despatched. You will be notified via
email once this has been processed.
k. Any refunds will be processed to the credit card
used for the original purchase.
l. In the interest of health and safety, we do not
accept returns of Pierced Earrings and Body Jewellery due to change of
Warranty and Extended Guarantee Returns
a. Our product comes with guarantees that cannot be
excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a
replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any
other reasonable loss or damage. You are entitled to have the goods
repaired if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and does not
amount to major failure.
b. In addition, Wallace Bishop offers a 12 month
guarantee on jewellery against defects in material and / or workmanship
and 6 months on repair work conducted in our workshop. The 12 month
guarantee excludes all watches and giftware which are covered by the
manufactures guarantee or warranty and selected fashion jewellery. For
selected items with 3 month guarantee, please refer to the front of
your receipt for details.
c. Any defects in material and/or workmanship that
become evident during the Standard Guarantee validity period will be
remedied by Wallace Bishop. The form of remedy will be at the sole
option of Wallace Bishop and will be limited to repair, replacement or
d. In order to claim a remedy under the Standard
Guarantee the goods must be returned for assessment and accompanied by
the original purchase receipt.
e. The Standard Guarantee does not include the
following to the extent they are permitted in the relevant
i. Damage due to ordinary wear and tear,
ii. Damage due to misuse, accident, alteration, substitution or
iii. Repairs and alterations performed by someone other than Wallace
iv. Theft, disappearance or loss (including loss of gem stones), and v.
Any type of use causing damage or deterioration.
f. Wallace Bishop reserves the right to judge whether
the jewellery has been subject to any of the above mentioned
g. White gold and some silver jewellery is rhodium
plated to enhance its appearance. This rhodium plating can wear off
during normal wear and tear. Accordingly any rhodium plating is
excluded from the Standard Guarantee.
h. When jewellery is repaired under guarantee or
warranty, only the remaining term of the original Standard Guarantee
will continue to apply. When jewellery is replaced under guarantee or
warranty, the new item of jewellery will automatically come with a new
Standard Guarantee of 12 months from the date of replacement.
